I Love Cards!!!

I just absolutely love making cards!!! I am having so much fun learning and sharing and creating it just really makes me happy! I am not great at thinking up the ideas by myself and luckily in the Stampin Up community there are so many creative people that I can case from! I saw this card and just had to make it! I just love how it opens up and you could even hang it up with the ribbon if you so choose too!

Happy Anniversary

In the summer months there are many weddings and therefore many Anniversaries. I know for one I have at least 5 couples I know this month alone so on that note I made a card for their Anniversary today. I used several of the new in colors since they will be going live on July 1st and they really are pretty and go great together. Summer Time

I don't know about all of you but I am really enjoying summer time! NO schedules, relaxing, going to the beach, swimming and hanging with family and friends! I am really a stickler for routine and schedule but have been trying to let go a little and really enjoy being a little more laid back! I would say the only thing I am not enjoying is having to shave my legs so much because of all the bathing suit wear ;).  Even yesterday my husband jumped in and put me together an awesome bubble bath for even a little more relaxation with the help of Grant and Gwen and I will take it!  

For today's card I thought we could get ready for the 4th of July! I am ready! I am excited for the BBQ and my niece Julie is coming home from LSU for the weekend and I can't wait to hear all about how  college is going and to get a big Hug!

Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch

Good Morning to you all! Well I found out from my husband yesterday that I am very long winded with my sentences! I said I type like I talk! He is always so eloquent on his speaking and writing I can certainly learn a thing or two from him! So I am grateful I have him to bring these things to my attention.I have never been great with all of the english stuff so I will do my best to be readable!!! It was really nice to get some feedback yesterday from family and friends on my blog! And I want to say our blog because I will be learning and sharing right along with you!

So for my project today it is a card using the Blossom Bouquet Triple layer punch which I love! It is so great to have 3 different options in 1 punch! I did use all 3 in this card. I used white cards stock for the card and I used Wild Wasabi and Pretty in Pink for the flowers. There are so many ways to use this punch and I will definitely be using it more to come!

Coasters

Here are some samples of the coasters that I made for Father's Day and some other samples for an any occasion, a Birthday, new home or just because! You will layer first the cork then an adhesive sheet then a piece of the DSP ( Designer Series Paper) then another sheet of adhesive and top it off with the window sheet. Then pick your die cut and run it through your Big Shot it is so easy and a wonderful product at the end.

Starting My Blog Journey!

WEll here I go! I am starting my own blog and I am pretty excited about it and I hope that I can touch someone somewhere through my love of crafting cards and projects. I am just now trying to figure out how to put this page together so it may take me a little bit to work out the kinks but so be it. I am really going to try to get out several cards and projects a week for you to check out and to hopefully inspire you to try it on your own. I am not great at thinking of the creation myself I  get a lot of ideas from My Stampin Up community and favorite blogs that I follow so I will not take all the credit but boy do I love creating so I am excited to start this journey and hopefully inspire you to create as well!
